INDIANAPOLIS - The Sagamore Club, a Jack Nicklaus-designed course in Noblesville, Ind., will be the site of the 2010 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships. The event is scheduled May 18-21. The University of Indianapolis and the Great Lakes Valley Conference, with assistance from Indiana Sports Corporation and the Hamilton County Convention & Visitors Bureau, will host the championship.

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Lewis University Assistant Sports Information Director Derrick Sloboda was selected as the 2008-09 NCAA Division II Great Lakes Region honoree for the American Volleyball Coaches’ Association (AVCA) Grant Burger Media Award. Presented each year by the AVCA, the honor focuses on hard-working, dedicated individuals across the country who have been involved in the advancement of the sport of volleyball.

KENOSHA, Wis. -  Michele Benoit becomes the ninth head coach in the University of Wisconsin-Parkside’s women’s volleyball history. Benoit will begin her appointment July 1. Benoit takes over for Rob Wolter, who was the interim head coach last fall. The 2008 Rangers posted an overall record of 10-22 which included a 3-15 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
