SOMERS, Wis. - After a 2-2 stalemate at the University of Wisconsin and a 4-1 loss at Marquette University in the pre-season, the UW-Parkside men’s soccer team kicked off the 2010 season with a victory over visiting Calumet College of Saint Joseph Thursday afternoon at Wood Road Field.

INDIANAPOLIS – Drury University has been selected as the pre-season favorite to claim the 2010 GLVC Men’s Soccer Championship. In a vote of the GLVC’s 15 head coaches, the Panthers collected 188 total points and eight first-place votes to finish atop the 2010 GLVC Men’s Soccer Preseason Coaches’ Poll.
