EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Southern Indiana posted a 2-0 victory over visiting Bethel (TN) College on Thursday evening in the Eagles' women's soccer season opener. The Eagles received goals from Meagan Kempf and Samantha Houston to post their first season-opening win since 2005. Southern Indiana outshot Bethel in the win 19-6.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Northern Kentucky women’s soccer team claimed its seventh Great Lakes Valley Conference title in 2009 and has been selected to repeat in 2010 by the league’s 15 head coaches. Northern Kentucky has been chosen as the favorite to win the 2010 GLVC Women’s Soccer Championship in the annual poll released by the conference on Thursday.

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T has selected Joe McCauley, the head women’s soccer coach for the past six seasons at Eckerd College in Florida, as its new head coach for its women’s soccer program.

ROLLA, Mo. – Jon Kiester, who has served as the head coach for the Missouri S&T women’s soccer program since 2005, is stepping down from the post to join the staff at the University of Hawai’i as an assistant coach for the women’s team.
