SOMERS, Wis - Micah VanDenend has been selected as the new head women’s and men’s track and cross country coach at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He was selected from nearly 100 inquiries from around the nation. VanDenend’s term will begin immediately.

SOMERS, Wis. - The past 29 years have seen Mike DeWitt as the head coach of the UW-Parkside women’s cross country program, as well as being the head coach of the women’s track team since 1982, and, in 2007, he took over the combined programs of men’s and women’s track and cross country.

CHARLOTTE, NC - The Great Lakes Valley Conference had student-athletes post nine All-America performances at the 2010 NCAA D-II Outdoor National Championships hosted by Johnson C. Smith University over the weekend. Missouri S&T senior Tamara McCaskill posted the top finish by placing second in the high jump.

INDIANAPOLIS – The 27-member Men’s Outdoor Track & Field All-Great Lakes Valley Conference First Team and 19-member Second Team have been announced. Missouri S&T senior Peter Hollenbeck and sophomore Terry Robinson have been selected the GLVC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete and Track Athlete of the Year, respectively.

ROLLA, Mo. - The University of Indianapolis claimed both the men's and women's team titles at the 2010 Great Lakes Valley Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at Allgood-Bailey Stadium on the campus of Missouri S&T.
